THURSDAY

today started with physical education at school, where we went for a run under the beautiful morning sky.

after i got home i have stayed in my favourite turtleneck sweater. 

and now i am spending my night with another big knit, a huge cup of tea and some episodes of homeland. my new favourite show, no doubt about it! kisses.

TUESDAY

hi guys. today has been a boring tuesday (as usual), except the fact that i have sent in my acceptance letter for the french study in paris next fall! i can't wait! like seriously. i miss paris so bad and i really can't wait to walk between the beautiful buildings and eat the amazing food again. and i am escpecially looking forward to learn the language! ah. on the other hand i have to get back down to earth and try to read some for my history test tomorrow... why do i have to? whyyyy? okay, i'm gonna stop complaining, because i really don't have anything to complain about. i am also looking forward to saturday, cause then me, my sister, her boyfriend and my niece are going to sweden for some shopping! weyho. but now i have to read about the vikings and the middle age. kisses.

15 NOVEMBER

left: this thursday started with this for breakfast before i went to school for some hours to have physical education and math. right: when i got home my new down jacket arrived at my door! i really love it and i hope it will keep me warm this winter.

left: i wore my new turtleneck today and i love it so much. so cozy and big! right: my dinner today was supereasy; rye bread with smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. yum.

left: i have spent my evening on tumblr with my cute cat sleeping on my mac, haha. right: look at the pretty blue light outside. (blåtime, anyone?)

(by the way; today is a much better day than yesterday! i feel better and i actually got offered a place on the french course in paris which i applied for! superduperhappy and i can't wait for next august when it starts)

PAST AND FUTURE

i remember these photos like it was yesterday, and i'm literally scared of how fast time flies by. i remember that i was really happy, full of life and i was really excited for the new phase of my life. i had just finished primary school and i was ready to move to the city all by myself to start studying media and communication at high school. i had just turned sixteen and i had big plans and even bigger dreams. i was going to be a well known photographer stationed in new york or paris. i had just been to paris and i was so full of love for the city of lights. 

today, over two years after, i am living at home again and i'm at my last year of high school. my mood goes up and down like a roller coaster and every day is different. i still have big dreams, but i don't feel like i can succeed at anything. i don't feel worthy for anything and i feel like if there is no need for me in any situation. i am listening to sad music and drinking tea while thinking too much about the future, without enjoying what's actually here and now. but tonight i made another step into my future. i have started to apply for a three-months long study in paris. i am also applying for a university in london to get a bachelor in fashion communication and styling, but i don't know what exactly i am going to do. right now i'm really longing for the three months in paris next fall and then we'll see if i'm going to london the year after. but nothing is for sure yet, so i guess i'll just have to try to enjoy the moment and live every second like it was my last. hope all of you are fine and that you enjoy your lives. kisses.

TURKEY DAY FOUR

the fourth day we started our 400 kilometres bus ride back to mukarnas. the first stop we made was at a turkish carpet factory.

it's really amazing how girls my age (and younger!) make these beautiful carpets with their own two hands.

they even coloured their own wool with local colour ingredients. inspiring!

and they made their own silk from silk cocoons. 

then we were guided upstairs, and it was carpets everywhere. on the floor, on the walls and it wouldn't surprise me if they had some hanging on the roof aswell. haha.

we got to see a little bunch of carpets (they had over 30000 carpets at the factory!), and many of them were so beautiful.

all those "paintings" on the walls are actually carpets in frames.

the next stop was at a place in the middle of nowhere.

we were supposed to have lunch at this place, but the food was such a big disappointment that malin and i bought some cookies and chocolate bars instead.

this is a neighbourhood in antalya where all the houses are built illegal! (except the blocks on the top of the hill)

then we stopped at a leather & fur factory where they had a "runway show" for us.

i can't say i enjoyed it though, because i don't like real fur. i felt bad for all the animals who had died for this huge factory. 

when we got back to the hotel we went downstairs to the basement of the hotel, where the "shopping center" was. i got a new bag which i adore.

then we relaxed on our beds until it was time for dinner again. 

more relaxing after dinner, haha. we were like an old married couple on vacation. really cozy, though.
